How the rent projection works

This tool compounds your annual percentage increase on top of the previous year's rent — not the original rent — so each year's rise is calculated on a growing base, the same way most tenancy agreements apply a recurring annual increase.

Example: a rent of Rs 40,000 with a 10% annual increase becomes Rs 44,000 in year one, Rs 48,400 in year two, and Rs 53,240 in year three.
