Rotate, Rearrange and Delete PDF Pages Online
See every page as a thumbnail, then rotate, delete or rearrange pages and save a new PDF. No upload, no watermark.
About Organize PDF
Organize PDF shows every page of a PDF as a thumbnail so you can rotate pages, delete the ones you don't need and put the rest in a new order, then save the result as a new PDF. It runs in your browser: the file is never uploaded, and there is no watermark, sign-up or daily limit.
It fixes the usual problems with scanned and combined documents: a page that came out sideways or upside down, a blank page in the middle, the pages of an admission or job application scanned in the wrong order, or a bundle where you only need to send pages 1, 4 and 7. Typing page numbers into the Pages box keeps or deletes many pages at once.
Pages are copied into the new file as they are, never re-drawn, so text stays sharp and searchable and the quality does not change. A rotation is saved as the page's orientation setting, and deleted pages are simply left out. Your original file is not changed: the result downloads as a new file ending in -organized.pdf. Bookmarks are not carried over, and form fields may stop being editable.
How to use Organize PDF
- Click the upload area, or drag your PDF onto it. A thumbnail appears for every page, and the label under each one is its page number in the original file.
- Rotate a single page with the ↺ and ↻ buttons under it, or every page with Rotate all left and Rotate all right.
- Delete a page with the ✕ in its corner (Undo brings it back), or type page numbers such as 2, 5-7 into the Pages box and click Delete these or Keep only these.
- Move a page by dragging its thumbnail, or with the ← and → buttons. The number in the corner shows its new position, and Reverse order flips the whole document.
- Click Save PDF, then Download Organized PDF, and open the file once to check it. Reset puts everything back the way it was in the original.
Tips for best results
- The Pages box always uses the original page numbers shown under each thumbnail, so you can move pages first and still type the numbers you see.
- If a document was scanned back to front, click Reverse order first, then fix any single pages.
- To send only part of a long document, Keep only these is quicker than deleting pages one by one. For one continuous run of pages, PDF Split works too.
- Organizing doesn't shrink the pages that are left. If the result is still too big for an upload form, run it through Compress PDF afterwards.
- Protected PDFs can't be changed. Save a copy without the password or editing restriction first.
- In a long document the thumbnails load as you scroll, and you don't have to wait for all of them before saving.
Frequently asked questions
How do I rotate PDF pages one by one and save them that way?
Use the ↺ and ↻ buttons under each page to turn only the pages that need it, a quarter turn per click, then click Save PDF. The rotation is written into the new file, so it opens the right way up in any PDF viewer, on a phone or when printed, not just on this page. To turn every page at once, use Rotate all left or Rotate all right.
How do I delete pages from a PDF for free?
Click the ✕ in the corner of each page you don't want, or type their numbers into the Pages box, for example 2, 5-7, and click Delete these. Deleted pages stay greyed out in place with an Undo button until you save. Then click Save PDF and download the new file. It is free, with no upload, watermark or sign-up.
How do I rearrange PDF pages?
Drag a page thumbnail to its new spot with the mouse, or use the ← and → buttons under it, which also work on phones and with a keyboard. The number in the corner shows each page's new position. If a document was scanned back to front, Reverse order flips the whole thing in one click.
Can I extract pages that are not next to each other, like 1, 4 and 7?
Yes. Type 1, 4, 7 into the Pages box, click Keep only these, then Save PDF. Everything else is left out, so the new file holds just those pages, in the order shown. The box always uses the page numbers from your original file, even after you move pages around.
Does organizing reduce the quality of my PDF?
No. Pages are copied into the new file as they are, so text stays sharp, selectable and searchable, and images are not recompressed. Rotating only changes the page's orientation setting; nothing is re-drawn. That is different from Compress PDF, which turns pages into pictures to reach a size limit.
Will the file get smaller if I delete pages?
Usually, because images and other content used only by the deleted pages are left out of the new file. Fonts or images shared with the pages you keep stay in. If you need the file under an upload limit, run the result through Compress PDF afterwards.
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. The thumbnails are drawn and the new file is built in your browser, so your document never leaves your device. The page downloads its PDF reading engine, roughly 2 MB, the first time you choose a file.
What happens to bookmarks, links and form fields?
The new file is built from the pages you keep, so bookmarks (the outline in a viewer's side panel) are not carried over. Web links on a page keep working, but links that jump to another page of the same document may not, and form fields may stop being editable even though what they show stays on the page. Keep your original if you rely on those features.
Can I organize a password-protected PDF?
No. Protected PDFs, including ones that open without a password but block editing, can't be changed here. Open the file in a PDF viewer, save or print a copy without the protection, and choose that copy.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes, in any modern browser on Android or iPhone. Use the arrow buttons to move pages, since dragging is designed for a mouse. In long documents the thumbnails load as you scroll, so the page stays quick to work with.
Can I add pages from another PDF?
Not in this tool, which works on one PDF at a time. Combine the files with PDF Merge first, then open the merged file here to put every page in order.
